Cleantex 108 NF is a layering agent for dyeing with Polyester. Most of the agents that level polyester work as an agent to level the dye by their retarding actions. They can slow down the absorption process by the Polyester in the dye bath. This is why they can reduce the final yield of dye. Cleantex 108 is a distinct class from the other leveling agents because it is not an agent that retards. It performs a dual function. In the presence of heat, it is exceedingly insoluble and forms a thin layer on the surface of Polyester. It also has moderate solvent action upon dispersing color. Because of this, dispersed dye is dissolved in this thin layer. The Polyester absorbs this dissolving dye. This procedure is more uniform than absorbing dye in the aqueous dispersion. This means that the dyeing process is more uniform. Additionally, it will increase the end-to-end dye yield compared to conventional leveling agents.
Jet Dyeing Machines, Pressure Soft-Flow, Cheese Dyeing Machines, etc. Fill the Machine with thoroughly scoured polyester material or complete the neutralization and scouring. Then add 0.5 to 1 gms per lit—Cleantex 108 for 2 minutes. Add 1 gm/lit of acetic acid ( the pH will drop by 5.5 -6). Continue to work for another 2 minutes, then add the dispersed dye, and then go through the normal dyeing process. In the end, give a quick hot wash using Cleantex 102. (Special wash agent designed for Polyester for more rapid and brighter washing) (preferably at a pH of 7) provide one cold and hot wash, then neutralize the pH with Acetic acid. Unload for outstanding leveled dyeing and the enhanced yield of dye. To correct shades or convert shades, fill this Machine up with shades that need to be corrected ( either mixed or single shades or mixed quality fabric). Alternate the bath. Add 2-3 gms/lit CLEAN TEX 108 . For about 2 minutes, run the solution. Keep at this temperature. between 30 and 45 mins, rinse, and then give one wash using Cleantech 102. (preferably with a pH of 7 or higher) Give one cold and hot wash and neutralize using acetic acid. Unload the Machine to achieve an excellent leveled dyeing process that produces an exact shade and uniformity regardless of the quality of the Fabric dyed. For lighter shades or materials with less oil, you can skip the lengthy Scouring Step and proceed directly with a Single bath Scouring Dyeing Process.
For this reason, load the Machine with the Fabric to be Dyed, change the bath, then add 0.5 to 1percent (On how much weight the material weighs) Cleantex 103 ( scouring agent )run for 3 minutes, then you can add 0.5 or 1 gm/lit Cleantex 108 and run it for another 3 minutes. (In most of the instances of non-horizontal jet dyeing machines, 500 grams of Cleantex 103 and 500 gms Cleantex 108 are an ideal combination) This is followed by adding Acetic acid to raise your pH.
Then run it for another 3 minutes, then add the dye dispersed in the disperse phase by the shade specifications. Then, increase the temperature to 130 C. Maintain this temperature. Until 20-30 mins. Remove the pressure and switch the bath. In the new bath, add about 1-2 gms of CLEAN TEX 102 ( should you require it to increase the pH up to 9 by adding the amount of Caustic soda). The bath should be run for 5-10 minutes close to boiling, then drain and give a quick cold and hot wash using neutralization by acetic acid. Then, remove the substance.
